FDEA Student Essay Contest - 2010
FDEA is sponsoring a Student Success Essay Contest. One award of $500 will be given to the winning essay. The winner will be contacted in August, the award presented at the annual FDEA Conference.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must attend a college that with an institutional membership (contact tlcherr@fccj.edu if uncertain).
- Must have completed at least two developmental level courses.
- Must submit a current, official transcript.
- Must submit at least one letter of recommendation from one of your developmental instructors.
- Must submit a photograph or digital photo in jpg format.
- Must submit an essay between 230-500 words, size 12 font, double spaced, on the topic of your choice. This is to be emailed to Tammy L. Cherry at the email address below. Also, include a printed copy of the essay with your application package.
