Student Scholarship Application

Students are eligible for this scholarship if they
  • attend a college that is an FDEA Institutional member and
  • have completed their developmental reading requirement
All applicants must submit the following along with the application below:
  • a current college transcript
  • two letters of recommendation (one from the instructor of a developmental reading course)
  • a typed essay describing how reading a specific book has changed the applicant's life. Essay must focus on one book, named by title and author.
  • a recent photograph (optional)

Two scholarship winners will be presented at the 2010 FDEA annual conference.
